Michael W. Cowart, MD

Michael W. Cowart has been in private practice in Garland, Texas, for more than 17 years, after spending several years working in public and private medical facilities and clinics throughout Texas. He completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas.

Dr. Cowart graduated with highest honors from Texas Tech University with a B.S. in Clinical Audiology and received his medical degree from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Lubbock, Texas. Before attending college, he served as an aviator in the U.S. Navy and as a Reserve in the U.S. Army Medical Corps.

Dr. Cowart is certified by the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is licensed in the state of Texas. He is a member of the American Medical Association, the Texas Medical Association, the Dallas County Medical Society and the Texas Medical Liability Trust.
