Sacheen Mehta, MD
Sacheen Mehta has been a practicing orthopaedic surgeon and sports medicine doctor for more than eight years. He completed his residency at Alton Ochsner Medical Foundation, working as chief resident, and completed his fellowship at Cincinnati Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic Center. He has been in private practice for seven years and is on staff at the Richardson Regional Medical Center.
Dr. Mehta graduated with distinction from University of Missouri-Kansas City with a B.A. in both biology and chemistry. He received his medical degree from University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine, graduating with honors.
Dr. Mehta is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and is a licensed physician in Texas, Illinois, Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky and Louisiana. He is a member of the Texas Medical Association, Dallas County Medical Association, the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, and the American Medical Association. He is a candidate member of the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine and is an Associate Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
