Michel K. Stephan, MD

Michel K. Stephan has more than eight years of experience in advanced laparoscopic surgery and more than five years of experience in laparoscopic bariatric surgery.

Dr. Stephan completed his general surgery residency at Conemaugh Valley Memorial Hospital in Johnstown, Pa. and Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia in 1980. He completed a fellowship in cardiovascular surgery at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas in 1981.

Dr. Stephan is certified by the American Board of Surgery in General Surgery and is a fellow with the American College of Surgeons. He also participates in several professional societies, such as the American Society of Bariatric Surgery, American Medical Association, Texas Medical Association and the Dallas County Medical Society.
